Michelin Guide Unveils 62 Outstanding Hotels in Thailand Awarded with the Prestigious “Michelin Key”
A New Global Standard of Excellence in Hospitality
The Michelin Guide proudly reveals its second annual selection of hotels recognized with the Michelin Key — a distinction that honors truly exceptional stays around the world. This year, 2,457 hotels worldwide received the prestigious accolade, setting a new benchmark in hospitality excellence.

Continuing its legacy of refined hospitality, Thailand celebrates 62 hotels earning a Michelin Key distinction in 2025, reflecting the nation’s dedication to world-class service, inspired design, and heartfelt cultural heritage. Among them are 6 hotels awarded Three Michelin Keys, 21 with Two Keys, and 35 with One Key — each representing a sanctuary where artistry, comfort, and character converge in perfect harmony.
The Spirit of Michelin: Defining Excellence in Global Hospitality
First introduced last year across 15 destinations, the Michelin Key marks the Guide’s first-ever global recognition for hotels that offer an experience far beyond accommodation — places that awaken the senses, inspire emotion, and celebrate the art of hospitality.
Drawing from more than 7,000 properties already recommended by the Michelin Guide, inspectors meticulously assessed each through anonymous visits, recognizing those that stand out for their design, service, ambiance, and location.

Each Michelin Key symbolizes a tier of excellence:
- One Key – An exceptional stay with distinctive character and outstanding service.
- Two Keys – An exceptional and memorable stay defined by individuality and sense of place.
- Three Keys – An extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime stay combining flawless comfort, design, and hospitality.
Guests can now book these selected hotels directly via the Michelin Guide’s website and app, enhanced with personalized concierge services and exclusive VIP privileges, elevating the travel experience to a new level of sophistication.
A Legacy Reimagined

“For over 125 years, the Michelin Guide has served as a trusted companion for travelers. Today, we redefine excellence in the world of hospitality — just as the Michelin Stars celebrate the world’s finest restaurants, the Michelin Keys honor hotels that deliver truly memorable stays,” said Mr. Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guides.
“The Michelin Key introduces a new, universal standard — independent and transparent — for recognizing the world’s most outstanding hospitality experiences.” Thailand: A Destination of Timeless Hospitality
